Many refugees face a lot of issues when moving into another country such as the language barrier in which many do not have the significant education to speak the language. These problems that they face are exacerbated when the government refuses to give people these basic resources that many of the refugees actually need. These issues cause refugees to suffer because of the lack of resources that they are given causing a lot of issues for them, as now they are forced to work without being able to prosper in their new country.
Problems
Language Barrier

Refugees often face a significant challenge in adapting to a new country due to language barriers. Without proficiency in the local language, they struggle to communicate effectively, access education, and secure employment, limiting their social and economic integration and perpetuating their dependence on others for assistance.

Lack of Support Services

Upon arrival in their host country, many refugees encounter a pile of ongoing support beyond initial assistance with housing, food, and healthcare. This lack of sustained support leaves them vulnerable to various challenges, including cultural adjustment, legal navigation, and employment seeking, increasing their risk of homelessness, poverty, and exploitation.
Cultural Adjustment

Adjusting to a new culture and societal norms presents significant hurdles for refugees, particularly those from vastly different backgrounds or with traumatic experiences. Culture shock, isolation, and difficulties in forming social connections can contribute to heightened stress and mental health issues, exacerbated by cultural misunderstandings or discrimination from the host community, hindering successful integration.
Causes
1
Insufficient language learning
The United States often fall short in providing adequate funding for language learning programs. A comprehensive review published in the "Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health" found that insufficient funding and limited access to language courses are common challenges for refugees
2
Lack of Funding
The lack of funding causes these new refugees more problems, as many of them receive a lack of funding causing struggles for the refugees. This problem forces the refugees to take the most unwanted jobs to help support their families shortly coming here causing even more problems.
3
No long term Support
In the local context, refugees often encounter limited support systems which do not support them in the long term. Many refugees only receive support for the first few months and after that, they were forced to go live on their own often with their families in their new country.
