As most of the research said, many organizations in the United are in need of volunteers who are willing to spend their time to help other refugees. Many are open to highschoolers and University students and welcome them with open arms if you are willing to help!
Advocating
Raising awareness can help Organize community events, workshops, and information sessions to raise awareness about the challenges faced by refugees and the importance of providing support to them.
Furthermore educating the public allows to educate the public about the contributions of refugees to society, the legal rights of refugees, and the benefits of refugee resettlement programs.
Governmental Solution
Integration Programs: Develop comprehensive integration programs modeled after successful initiatives like Germany's "Integrationkurse." These programs should provide refugees with language classes, cultural orientation, job training, and support services to facilitate their integration into American society.
Public-Private Partnerships: Foster partnerships between government agencies, NGOs, and private companies to leverage resources and expertise in supporting refugees. Encourage businesses to provide job opportunities, training programs, and support services for refugee employees. This would benefit companies as well, as they have the opportunity to get workers without recruiting.
Housing Assistance: Increase funding for affordable housing programs and rental assistance to ensure that refugees have access to safe and affordable housing upon arrival. Explore innovative housing solutions such as community-based housing models and micro-housing developments to allow for more space for refugees
